Making Presentation
Dear friends,
At the moment the Dutch students are making powerpoint-presentations about two Unesco World Heritage Sites in the Netherlands that are in the neighbourhood of our school:
- the former island of Schokland (in the middle of the North East polder) and
- the Ir.D.F. Woudagemaal (D.F. Wouda Steam Pumping Station), one of the greatest and oldest - and still working - steam pumping water- station in Europe.
In a few weeks they will present you their presentations. In the album we already have placed two pictures of these Heritage Sites in the Netherlands and the picture of the Dutch students taking part in this interesting project.
Dear greetings, Adriaan C. Postma

During our first meeting we will decide which Unesco Heritage sites we are going to make a study about.
you can see the powerpoint presentation that my Dutch students have made about the biggest and still working steam waterpumpingstation in the world: the ir. D.F. Woudagemaal (= waterpumping-station) in Friesland, which is a province in the north of the Netherlands. My students have made this presentation for students from foreign countries who are going to visit this famous waterpumping station in the Netherlands. Please take a look at their interesting presentation and if you have any questions, please ask them to my students. They just like to give you more information!
The ir. D.F. Woudagemaal in Lemmer (Friesland) is the biggest, still working, steam waterpumping-system in the world! And...........on the list of the Unesco World Heritage SitesGreetings from Holland, Adriaan
